The Dark Side of the world

Ever wondered about the two faces of the world?

The non-enchanting dull days and the beautiful, mysterious nights

Love those drives down on those lonesome freeways with dim lights and hidden exits.

People half asleep in the day light gets their cells charged up and cruise the downtown with increased zest and vigor. Every corner is unpredictable and that is its charm.

Night dwellers are getting bolder with the aid of the dark.

Deals are going on in the small cafes which are low flying for the radars. Every one is a thug with there attitudes blown out of proportion.

Getting intoxicated in every step, gets a high out of every breath filled with spirit, cigar and what not

All races blend on the streets, blacks, whites, rich and the poor.

A world of sins, a world of pleasure, a world of debauchery, a world of deceit…

Homeless and millionaires cross their paths and a moment of socialism where every one lives in that second.

People screaming out of the limousines, beggars getting beaten up, drunken teenagers unaware of the struggles ahead…

Tall buildings all lit up, dark alleys, low life, hookers, little girls over the balcony, drunk people, maze, open shops, nightclubs, show bars, video centers, drug dealers, neon lights..

Where the mean spirits hover, where the vampires comes out of those doors and where the stray dogs watches every signals.

Sewers smoking the manholes, workers hurrying to finish the constructions, strippers trying to get home..

Street cleaning starts cleaning up the scum, blood, tears and joy from the roads. If they ever could know the night is going to fall again.

Dawn takes away the charm…the cells charged out and again back to the depressed day light…where the routine starts, life moves in a predictable path, fake smiles, sober looks and less mean.

Do emotions control you or you control your emotions

I am not taking the off beaten path to get to a conclusion. If we consider an analogy, the burst of an emotion is like a chemical experiment. If we add the right ingredients, the result will be predictable, but there can be some catalysts which can vary the intensity of it. The amount of these catalysts can be different in different individuals. We can simulate most of them by giving the right amount of stimulation to our desires, feelings and recollecting similar memories. Simulated ones and spontaneous ones are like two sides of a coin and they are disparate.

The birth of a spontaneous emotion is purely based on the scenarios that can tickle your desires. The resulting behavior can be similar for multiple cases even though the cause is entirely different. People cry when they are sad, hurt and when they are in ecstasy (not the pill). Controlling of emotions is a temporary phenomenon. It is like clearing from the RAM in computer terms. The spark will be still available in some part of your mind. These are the kind of sparks any actors can make use of when they emote different scenarios, some can even ignite that spark and perform. Most of the times these sparks can accumulate on its own and can cause an eruption at the least provocation which can even cause an emotional turmoil.

Emotions can always question your morality and even the ethics. In some cases which include morality, which is a tough barrier for many of the people who lives in the current society, we try to suppress them so hard. Remember suppression is not the answer for anything in this world. It is like if you try to stop the flow of water and it will take an alternate course. The best way I feel is to redirect those feelings to similar ones which may satisfy your desires and won’t hurt the moral aspects.

Emotions definitely can control you, both natural ones and created ones. Mass hysteria in a music concert or group thinking is some of them for the later one. There can be excessive struggle between our conscience and the urge. We cannot let any one of this to win over the other as both can have adverse effects. The decision will be based on what makes you happy and what are the consequences. In the core, all human beings are self centered and we can discuss about this at a later time. Because of this nature, naturally the priority will be given to the one that makes him happy and in weak minded people the urge takes over.

When we look at the topography of human mind, human beings care for each other from interaction for a longer period of time or compassion based on mutual benefits. The changes in either positive or negative ways to any of these can cause an emotional variation. The catalysts can be achievement, attraction, basic needs, interest conflicts and many others. A perfect mix of all the ingredients is impossible in life and a life devoid of emotions is equivalent to being inanimate.

I can ramble on forever on this. The point for all the emotionally challenged people are to find a perfect balance between your desires and emotions and let your intellect decide whom should rule you and how.

Life and its meaning..lets go to the roots

Life is the only beautiful thing we have got. To find its meaning, explore your mind and free your emotions. Let the life take where you are destined to go, like a free bird. Just follow the path like a kid following the footstep of his father. Listen to its commands, understand its feelings, let not the conscious guide you as it is not you, it is something the world has imposed on you. Let the subconscious be your guardian angel which is more trust worthy and it is more you. At the end of this expedition I am sure you can reach a state of bliss which is hard to explain.

To savor the joy in its true sense, I know we may have to break the chains which have been tied across our brain cells for hundreds of years. Our minds have become slaves to the age old human philosophies. As a human being we are bound to make mistakes and these are being transferred to us over the generations. This huge pile of mistakes has suppressed our natural instincts so much that we have turned out as robots with our minds programmed with millions of bugs. It takes a big step to find the true “us” by digging through all our egos, prejudices and this pseudo life.

It has become imperative that what ever we see around is right, but the search for the right is as far as millions of generations. The silver lining is our mind is like a boy in his adolescence. If you try to put rules on him, you won’t get the right results, so let him surf the world with his own views. There can be arguments like, these rules have made us civilized or that is why this society is civilized. How do you know what we see in what is called “the civilized Society” is the one that we really need? Do we have to get choked up in the so called the rules of the society which is made for the convenience of the people over the time? Can we even trust the words of the people around which come out of presumptions? Trust is a word that has meaning in a place where people speak with out any prejudices which is rare in this period.

The clogged vision has to be cleared. Look thru a new pair of eyes and see the new world. Let your perceptions take a back seat and cross that threshold to the horizon where you never dared to step on. In a world where success is not measured based on the thickness of your valet, where people won’t interact like zombies with out any feeling or meaning, where the sky is always clear and bright sunlight shines. It is time to break free from pseudo life where everything is based on what you were told true and embrace a new world which is true in real.
